When Laura wanted her senior session at Lavender Hill Farm I jumped at the chance to photograph her there. We chose a time in late July when the blooms were at their peak and reserved our evening at the farm in order to have it to ourselves. For an extra look, we started the session at the Village of Bay Harbor and captured some photos by the water in their marina. Laura wore a red romper to go with the nautical feel of the place which contrasted nicely against the waves. After walking the charming brick streets under twinkly lights, we made our way to the main event, the lavender fields. Bursting with color, they made a dreamy backdrop to Laura as she walked the rows of purple in her floral dresses. A perfect sunset finished the evening with a warm golden glow over the fields as Laura smiled for her last look. We even had time for a quick family photo with Laura’s parents who were there for support. Laura, thank you for choosing me to be part of your senior year, I’m so grateful for the chance to photograph your session.
